What you Should do Next.

Book a driver theory preparation course with Auto Academy. At the very least, get and study the latest Road Safety Authority (Irish) rules of the road book available directly from the R.S.A. and most good book shops.
When you feel confident- apply for a theory test – you can apply on line at www.dtts.ie or contact the Driver Theory Testing Service.
When you have passed your theory test- apply for a “Learners Permit" (provisional drivers licence). You will need to provide your theory test certificate, ID photographs and perhaps some additional documentation – please refer to section 1 of the rules of the road book or check the requirements on line.
Please consider carefully the responsibility you are about to undertake. Please do not have unrealistic expectations. Please consider booking a course of lessons – one thing you can be sure of – you will not be taking too many
Please consider booking at least one “Pre Drive” lesson, it will pay off.
